What is the mission of Hope and Beyond?
- Provide motivating service learning / experiential educational opportunities for culturally
diverse pre-college high school students, built on positive, productive relationships with adults and with others
of their peer group.
- Support teaching principles of responsibility, ethical practices, social consciousness, and the values
of citizen diplomacy, while students engage in their own learning process.
- Use emerging communications technologies to enable students to effect real change.
- Assist in sustaining a peer-to-peer global network of socially conscious future leaders.
- Provide a role model service-learning legacy, with a communications platform for the next generation
of students.
