Michael Hildreth, Partner and Business Development Leader in the Pacific North West, is a graduate of Stanford University and has been practicing public accounting for over twenty years, the past eighteen of which have been with Ernst & Young. Mike has extensive experience in serving technology, life science and electronic commerce clients, from start-ups to global organizations, as well as local venture capital funds, including:

Mike is a recognized leader in assisting companies with strategic alliances as well as public and private equity offerings. He also regularly consults with clients and colleagues on complex accounting, auditing and financial strategies and SEC matters. In late 1999, the Venture Capital Advisory Group was created under Mike's leadership. This unit is dedicated to serving the needs of the local venture capital community. Mike is a frequent speaker on emerging industry, SEC and growth company issues. He co-developed the firm's IPO TransformationSM process, and he is a contributing editor for Ernst & Young's annual biotechnology survey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Personal Profile:

Mike is a guest lecturer in the Venture Capital program at the Haas School of Business of UC Berkeley and Stanford University's eChallenge competition and a past director of the Northern California Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Churchill Club. He and his wife are also active volunteers for local charities.
